Hello from Anchorage! We recently had a large earthquake, and the glass in one of our windows shattered. The good news is we have power, and the weather is unseasonably warm (mid 20s to mid 30s). However, I'm unsure of the best way to replace the glass in the cold weather - I'm afraid the glaze won't set up.
Windows must break in the winter all the time. Should I make the repair and tent the window on the outside with plastic sheeting? Glaze the window and understand that it will take months to cure? Something else?
All advice is appreciated. Thank you!
